Lost Youth
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who tells the biggest lie of all?
This wrinkled face that I see,
Cannot, just cannot really be me!
For in my heart forever bright,
I am a girl filled with light.
Time has dragged my body down,
It spreads out as I hit the ground.
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who tells the biggest lie of all.
And if an illusion this must be,
Can I create a whole new me?
Or are we holograms instead,
And images play inside our heads.
If this is true for me and you,
Where do we go, what do we do?
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Remember when I was
fairest of all.
