Tantalyzing Secrets

 Hidden........in a dream of remembering
lies fragrant memories......of music,
strolling on the beach,  the taste
of salty....sea air...lifting with the breezes.
Whispers of light perfumes teased our
senses..as young island maidens passed.
Brown, sensuous eyes peered coyly
under heavy lids, wondering, asking
silent questions..........like who are you?
Where did you come from, seeing our
total exploration of our love, dizzy.......
from explosions........
rocking in the sand dunes, wet grasses
around our bodies as we loved...  My
mind wanders to that special
time.....and, I feel again, the warmth
of your lips upon mine...
as we taste the honey of passionate kisses,
our tongues entwined together in a dance of
seeking........
exploring the softness of private places
in anticipation of things to come.
I feel again the waves......approaching softly, calmly
as it.........to join with our bodies in a passionate
embrace.....
surrounding us....caressing us, cradling us in a
newborn love.
The smell of passion mingled with the salt water
lingered.......as we explored intimate harbors
reserved only for the most intimate of lovers,
lingering, tasting.....savoring every moment.
Your wet, salty fingers traced tracks of tears
flowing down my face, touching my lips,
slowly, circling  them....teasing...stroking..
and the waves flowed in....soothing, yet
pounding..softly, you held my face in your hands,
nibbling on my nose, my cheeks, my eyes,
tingling my body with delight and passion
rising once again, like the tide, caught in the
shoreline, aching to be free, crashing.....
a collision of souls.........
And then........quiet....
so still......we lay, the calm after the storm,
I moved, sighing into your lips, my life....
melting into yours....cradled, warmed,
shielded from the cool night air.....as
our lives lay suspended....forever in
that moment........and I tucked these
memories into a hidden pocket, to be
taken out at times like these.........
